Sometimes, you just need a good breakfast.

What a wonderful place. Paula ordered two pancakes with a side of hash browns. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which came with hash browns. Both are shown in the picture. The waitress asked if I wanted the full order or half an order. "What's the difference?" I asked. I was told that the half order came with one egg instead of two and one sausage instead of two. "Just a half order" I said.

Whoa! Their half order was really large! I couldn't eat the whole thing. And the gravy! Oh, the gravy. These were the first biscuits and gravy that I have had where I didn't have to ask for extra gravy. Gravy everywhere!

If you are in Kansas City near the City Market, don't miss this place. The breakfast was the best meal we had there.
