Café des Anges, Paris

The Café Des Anges is located at 66 Rue de la Roquette in Paris' 11ème arrondissement. It is a friendly sidewalk café perfect for passing time and people watching. The price is very reasonable. You can eat outside or inside at Café Des Anges. They have a busy bar inside with tables. Outside is your typical Paris sidewalk café. We were staying at an apartment just a block or so away from Café Des Anges so we were there a lot.

Many of the waitresses were from English speaking countries. One that we became acquainted with was from Canada, another from McAllen, Texas. What! Yes it is strange but Café Des Anges likes to hire students to work there, especially foreign students.

We also met April at Café Des Anges. April is from Canada and has a tour business called AprilInParisTours.com where she gives customizable tours to people and groups. A very upbeat person that we talked to several times.

Paula and I went to Café Des Anges for breakfast when we were especially hungry. The Brunch had three eggs, bacon, bread, croissant, juice and coffee. I think the price was around 9€ euros. If you didn't want the whole brunch, you could just order what you wanted. Great place for breakfast.
